Before using the decorator fabrics on the wall you have to do some
preparations. Wash the wall where you want to stick the decorator fabric and
let it dry in air. Cut the fabric as per the requirement of shape and size.
Now take the starch and apply it on the wall with the help of paint roller.
Stretch the decorator fabric and gently press it against the wall and remove
all the wrinkles as once dried in wrong condition it is very difficult to
clear the mess. After sticking the fabric on the wall take the paint brush
and apply thin coat of starch over it. If there is any excess of fabric then
trim it after drying. In future if you want to peel the fabric then gently
pull i t or first damp the wall and remove the fabric. You can then wash the
wall to remove the remnants of the fabric.
Besides using it on the wall, the fabric has immense importance in other
home furnishing. The sofa fabric, curtains,
draperies,
cushions are all made from this decorative fabric.
